We need funds to get space to organize meetings, order food, run web site... Think how much do you need to pay for a movie tickets (with popcorn) ($20/event), or how much is a book ($60), or how much is one hour of consulting ($50 - $120/h), or how much do you need to pay for training ($2000)...
